A magnificent English lead fragment from a cistern. This stunning piece is dated 1716 and bears the initials M G E - His Majesty George the 1st of England - and his coat of arms. The fragment is displayed on a later iron stand. The panel itself measures 34 1/2" H X 44" W X 3/4" D.
