Spanish 18th Century "Petrin" FTP1205

An 18th century Catalan "Petrin" constructed from naturally washed chestnut. Pieces such a this were used for preparing dough on the surface of the piece then storing it in the piece's interior to allow the dough to rise. Wonderful as a console table, work table or island.
