A wonderful pair of early 20th century French Creusets - Foundry Pots. Fabulous as Jardinieres or planters. Perfect for any interior or garden. A crucible was made from a material with a much higher melting point than what was going to be melted in it. The pots absorb some of that material resulting in a terrific texture and patina.
