An outstanding 18th century Louis XVI period mechanical Chaise De Repos from Aix En Provence, France. Soundly crafted from walnut, this chair is constructed with the Cremaillere system - for reclining. There are also iron pullouts recessed in the arms for supporting its tray and removable chair wings. The depth when fully reclined is 50". A terrific accent piece for any living or bedroom area.
