A very exceptional and rare early 19th century French water gilded Sunburst Clock. Beautifully hand-carved gilt wood sun rays surround an elegant porcelain enamel clock face. The patina of the gold is rich and sumptuous. The clock face is covered by a wonderful convex glass. An absolutely stunning piece.
